Wulfenstein Construction Company – New Class II Stationary Source

Prepare application for a Class II Stationary Source in Pahrump, NV for submittal to the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP)

Justice & Associates prepared all necessary documentation required to obtain an air quality permit from the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) Bureau of Air Pollution Control. NDEP is the governing body for all emission sources in Nevada outside Clark and Washoe Counties. This particular application was prepared for a multi-process stationary source.

The facility consists of a type II crushing and screening operation that processes over 400,000 tons of aggregate per year, a hot mix asphalt plant and a wet lime marination circuit. Justice & Associates provided all general company information, emission unit application forms, detailed emission calculations, flow diagrams, project narrative, maps and dust control plan.

Emissions from each process were calculated using current EPA’s AP-42 emission factors. Emissions from the hot mix asphalt oil tanks were calculated using EPA’s TANKS 4.0 software.
