Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology with a minor in Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach. Her coursework provided a thorough background of the life sciences with an emphasis in environmental impacts. Required academic curriculum included Biology and the Law, Biostatistics, Ichthyology, Phycology, and Ecology of Marine Communities. She is also trained in both Minitab and SAS statistical software.
Jennifer is currently working in our Land Use and Water Quality department. Her responsibilities include preparing and revising Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, preparing Storm Water Annual Reports and general Storm Water Consulting.
Since joining Justice & Associates in 2002, she has worked on various projects to ensure our client’s conformance with environmental regulations and deadlines. These projects include, but are not limited to: preparing Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) E-1527 Standards, Groundwater Monitoring Plans, Operation Plans for Inert Debris Engineered Fill Operations, Hazardous Waste Management & Contingency Plan’s, Hazardous Waste Minimization (SB-14) Plans, Conditional Use Permit Applications, Business Emergency Plans and Hazardous Material Inventories.
Jennifer has been certified to evaluate visible emissions in accordance with EPA Method 9 which will aid her in keeping Justice & Associates’ clients in compliance with Federal New Source Performance Standards. In addition, she has recently been certified as an Underground Storage Tank Designated Operator in accordance with Title 23 of the California Code of Regulations. This will enable her to perform monthly inspections and yearly training to keep our clients in compliance with the State Water Resources Control Board “Training Plus” Requirements.
