Justice & Associates - Kathryn Hubbard

Kathy has over 15years of experience in the environmental engineering field. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan in 1986 and her Master of Science from Rutgers University in 1989.

Her experience includes preparation of Federal, State and Local water quality, hazardous waste and air quality compliance reports, plans and permit applications. She also performs environmental compliance audits and site assessments. Industries requiring these services include auto manufacturers, airline maintenance facilities, gasoline stations, aerospace, printing, textiles and construction materials. She is also a California Registered Environmental Assessor (REA-03516).

Prior to joining Justice & Associates, Kathy worked in the refining and aerospace electronics industries and ultimately became a consultant providing a wide range of regulatory services.

Since joining Justice & Associates in 2000 she has focused on environmental compliance audits, site assessments, and water quality control regulations. Kathy has extensive experience in the construction materials and construction/demolition contractor arena. She has been responsible for providing guidance and insight for leaking underground storage tanks, Phase I Site Assessments, Spill Plans, Waste Water and Storm Water Control Plans as well as preparation of periodic regulatory reports.

Kathy has gained a reputation for handling environmental problems with a solid understanding of the issues. Her confident and calm approach works well to soothe anxious feelings when tensions are running high because an agency inspector has turned up an unanticipated problem.

Her grasp of the issues and knack for explaining complicated regulations in a simple to understand format, has created a demand for her leadership and training skills. Kathy is often asked to help educate those who are responsible for regulatory compliance.
