Susana Perez is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where she majored in Civil Engineering. She has established herself as an expert on issues covering the compliance of facilities located in the Las Vegas area and in the South Coast AQMD.
She prepares Annual Emissions Reports for several facilities in the Clark County Department of Air Quality and has chosen to focus her efforts on that area's permitting requirements. She is currently responsible for preparing air permit applications, evaluating offset requirements, and determining baseline emissions for the projects she is working on.
Susana has also established herself as an expert in auditing facilities to comply with EPA's New Source Performance Standards which apply to Non-Metallic Mineral Processing and Hot Mix Asphalt production. (40 CFR Subpart OOO and Subpart I)
She has also become proficient in preparation for SARA Title III reporting and Community Right To Know requirements. Susana has also been involved in Air Quality Modeling involving criteria air pollutants and toxic air contaminants for various projects.
Susana has prepared several Air Quality Impact Analysis for projects as they relate to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). She has conducted modeling peer review for County agencies as part of the CEQA process.
